How do I care for and clean my jewellery?
Always try to avoid contact with bleach, soap, perfume, cosmetics,
hairsprays, and other forms of chemicals. Please also remember to
take your
jewellery off at night and keep it in a
Jewellery Box. We
would also recommend such a box with compartments that keep items from
rubbing against each other.
You can clean your
gold jewellery in a bowl of warm water with a
little mild liquid detergent. Use a soft brush on the
jewellery
until you have created lather around it. With the jewellery on
a plastic or metal strainer, rinse off with warm water but
be careful not to let anything slip down the drain! Pat your jewellery
dry with a soft, lint-free cloth. However please do not use this
technique with items that are gem set or include pearls.
Please regularly check for any wear or damage. The claws of stone set rings
should be inspected for wear as there may be a danger of the stone being
lost. If you have any concerns please bring in the item and
